NK 4-H/FFA Beef Show

The NK District 4-H/FFA Beef Show to be held Saturday, May 28 in Campbell County at the Alexandria Fairgrounds.

Registration 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Show starts 12:00 noon

Buy a Clover and support Campbell County 4-H!

4-H offers a wide variety of exciting hands-on activities and opportunities for youth… with programming offerings in everything from the agricultural and animal sciences to science projects and 4-H Camp!

And now, there’s a quick and easy way for you to show your support of 4-H -- at Tractor Supply Company in Alexandria. Starting tomorrow, April 15th through Monday, April 25th buy a paper clover at checkout for just one dollar! 
Proceeds will be donated to fund 4-H camps, clubs, after-school programs and other fun 4-H activities right here in Campbell County.

So don’t forget to buy your paper clover, and support the 4-H leaders of tomorrow!

The Talk Meet Communications Champions are:
9 Years Old- Ian McNabb  “Google” from Cline Elementary
10 Years Old- Maddy Halpin “Facebook”  from St. Mary Elementary
11 Years Old- Gabby Waibel “Tap Into Your Potential” from Grandview Elementary
12 Years Old- Brett Martin “Why Cell Phones are Good for Kids”  from Sts. Peter & Paul
13 Years Old- Nathan See “UC Basketball” from Sts. Peter & Paul
14 Years Old- Logan Schaufler “Personal Responsibility” from St. Mary Elementary

Sign up to go Snow Tubing with the 4-H Teen Club!

The Campbell County 4-H Community Teen Club is going snow tubing at Perfect North Slopes on Monday, January 17th (Martin Luther King Day)!  The cost to go with us is $10.  We will leave the Campbell County Extension office at 10am and be back by around 2:30-3pm.  

If you are interested in going with 4-H to Perfect North you must call our office at 572-2600 to sign up.  Space is limited so please call as soon as possible to reserve your spot.  

In order to travel with 4-H you must have your parents/guardians complete the4-H Activity Acceptance Form and the Perfect North Waiver.  

Bring both completed forms, ten dollars for your snow tubing ticket, and any extra spending money with you on January 17th.
