The 2010 Outstanding Volunteers for Campbell County 4-H are Gene and Paula Barbian. Gene and Paula have been 4-H volunteers for over 10 years and are active in the Saddle Up 4-H Horse Club. Gene is one of the three main organizational leaders of the club and is also a member/director on the Alexandria Fair board. Paula has worked on numerous committees for 4-H including horse camp. She also serves as secretary at the the 4-H Horse Shows and has chaired the committee for the State 4-H Horse Show Stable display for many years. Both Paula and Gene work with fundraising and the recognition banquet as well as the Kindred Hearts 4-H Club, 4-H Capital Experience, the Country Ham Project, Kentucky State Fair, and the Alexandria Fair. Gene and Paula have been married for 31 years and have two daughters, Julie and Catherine, and a granddaughter, Emma. Congrats Gene and Paula Barbian!
