4-H Community Teen Club

Campbell County 4-H is creating a new club just for teens!

The 4-H Community Teen Club will focus mainly on community service activities. The club will meet each month to volunteer as a group for an event or some sort of community service activity. Some of the community service topics we currently have in mind are working with the Ronald McDonald House, volunteering with Active Day, River Sweep, and a Habitat for Humanity trip summer of 2011. Some months we will take a break and just meet as a group for fun events, such as going to a Cincinnati Reds game or snow tubing as a group.

If you are interested in joining the 4-H Community Teen Club please join us Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010 for an Ice Cream Party at the Campbell County Extension Office in Highland Heights from 6-7pm. You can make your own ice cream sundae and learn more about the club and our first community service activity.  If you have any friends who might be interested in the 4-H Community Teen Club but not familiar with 4-H, please invite them to join us! The 4-H Community Teen Club is open to all Campbell County teens 14-18. Teens younger than 14 can join but must have completed the 8th grade.

Parents of teens are also welcomed at the Ice Cream Party! To make sure we have enought ice cream for everyone please RSVP for the Ice Cream Party by calling 859-572-2600.  If you have any questions or would like more information please contact me at 859-572-2600 or sherri.broderick@uky.edu.
