Spots are still available for the Health Rocks Day Camp!
Health Rocks is FREE summer day camp for youth ages 9-14 on June 21-23rd from 9am-2pm at the Campbell County Extension Office. Youth will have fun learning about Health related topics and be able to win really cool prizes! Click here for a flyer and a information form!

4-H Community Teen Club

4-H Community Teen Club
Campbell County 4-H is creating a new club just for teens!
If you are interested in joining the 4-H Community Teen Club please join us Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010 for an Ice Cream Party at the Campbell County Extension Office in Highland Heights from 6-7pm. You can make your own ice cream sundae and learn more about the club and our first community service activity. If you have any friends who might be interested in the 4-H Community Teen Club but not familiar with 4-H, please invite them to join us! The 4-H Community Teen Club is open to all Campbell County teens 14-18. Teens younger than 14 can join but must have completed the 8th grade.
Parents of teens are also welcomed at the Ice Cream Party! To make sure we have enought ice cream for everyone please RSVP for the Ice Cream Party by calling 859-572-2600. If you have any questions or would like more information please contact me at 859-572-2600 or sherri.broderick@uky.edu.

4-H Fashion Show – A Success!
Thanks to all the parents, sewing leaders, club leaders, and volunteers for your help and support for the fashion show and sewing projects!
All of the sewing construction winning projects, both non-clothing and clothing, will go on to compete at the state fair. More information about when to bring your item back to the 4-H office for the state fair will be in a future 4-H newsletter. All 4-H’ers who made an item should remember to bring it to the Alexandria Fair check in on Wednesday, September 1, from 2-6pm. Be sure to bring your project record form and project story with it! Each item and book will get a ribbon and premium money!
